Farran Tozer Brown joined Treecrest Family Office following 15 years of experience as a real estate investment banker, commercial real estate broker and asset manager. At Treecrest, Farran is responsible for investors relations, strategic development, portfolio management and active positioning of assets on behalf of the legacy real estate portfolio of the multi-generational Treecrest Family Office and newly sourced private equity investments.
While as a M&A banker at Lazard Freres and JP Morgan, Farran worked on all aspects of over $4 billion of office, hotel and apartment transactions for public and private real estate investors, including Lazard’s Real Estate Fund. Subsequently, as a commercial real estate broker at Studly and Cushman & Wakefield, Farran focused on implanting strategic plans for investors and negotiating with landlords on behalf of her investors.
While living in London, Farran served as an Executive & President’s Chief of Staff of the Royal Academy of Arts. She was responsible for restructuring the Royal Academy of Arts, including the repositioning of the Burlington Gardens. Before attending Harvard Business School, Farran was a Lehman Brothers’ Analyst structuring stand-alone waste management facilities.
Farran is deeply philanthropic and maintains a strong commitment in her local communities. Currently, she is a Trustee for The Cary Institute of Ecosystems, Cure Blindness, and Kimball Arts Center (located in Park City). Previous Board commitments include Manhattan Community Board 6, New York Landmark Conservancy, Drama League, and 470 Park Avenue.
Farran, a native New Yorker, lived and worked in New York City until moving with her family to London in 2007. In 2015, Farran relocated to Park City with her husband, Robert. Farran received her MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA with Honors from Wesleyan University. Farran and her husband have three adult daughters.
